I've been working on tightness a lot lately... especially with alternate picking. I kept noticing that in everything I quad tracked, my alternate picking sounded like mush. I've gotten much better in that regard, but I've lost some of my trademark speed... I can't even play Mehcore anymore (You know... the one song on Youtube that blew my channel up), at least not at the 215 bpm I recorded it at.
