Re: Dime amp GAS starts again. His miced tones are generally quite good for what he does, if I'm remembering correctly- it's been a good long while since I've spent a lot of time on HCAF. Dude definitely has a sound he's chasing and was like ubergearwhore for years. Camcorder mic doesn't do him any favors. I could swear he's posted up miced clips of a good bunch of his stuff and it displays more character than "thrash rhythm tone". He's a good player, but I do agree his video clips should have a miced amp if only because you can only get so much from a camcorder mic.

Just need time and practice with micing, which is a rare commodity these days.... but it's in the works, I promise. ;) And no I only have 1 Dime amp now, traded the other straight up for a 6505+ But the Dime Amp and X2 aren't going anywhere, just picked up the matching cabs for the X2.  But yeah, I haven't done many clips lately specifically because of the reasons listed. I've got work to do, but I WILL learn this is it KILLS me.

Re: Dime amp GAS starts again. By the way, for the cash, the Dime amp can not be beat. period. it's a great amp, I've heard alot of dingleberries at the dean forum say it sucks, but those idiots can't dial in ANY amp.

That settles it. I don't know when I'll be buying one, but I will eventually.
