 Re: MOP tone recreated
I'm not entirely sure I understand the last sentence. But I'm tired and full of Domino's pizza and my rhythm guitarist's homebrewed beer.

 Re: MOP tone recreated
I believe he means that this forum is generally more talented than the other ones, if not due to musical ability than by level of non-noobery.

 Re: MOP tone recreated
What Geoff said. While as a whole we tend to be on the "generally good player" side, it's more the "we get it" thing that seals it. Knowing what the notes are doesn't matter. It's knowing why the notes are there and how to make them count for something.

 Re: MOP tone recreated
Id say most of us are past the " generally good player " stage. All of you are pretty beast mode at what you do.....

 Re: MOP tone recreated
Many good players here, but I've noticed we are also honest about our playing and strong points and faults. It's refreshing to hear someone say, I can nail the rhythms on that, but I'm not great on the leads, and you hear their leads and think.... not bad at all, whatheholyhellrtheytawkin'bout?

 Re: MOP tone recreated
Yeah, it pretty much was just the pizza and beer that muddled me. That sentence is perfectly comprehensible revisiting it sober.
