I am very much wanting to find a new local metal band to join..
I have tried the myspace search dealie (tedious) and looked on craigslist (turned up nothing, though not surprisingly).
Just wondering if there's a more obvious method that I am missing..

Maybe living in Seattle and actually knowing musicians would help.

Fuck joining a band, then you're their bitch. Record demos, put them out there to see who wants to fill out the remaining positions.

Friend asked me to start a band with him not even 3 weeks ago. Already on our way to getting a full 5 members. Got two guitarists, me on tha bass, have a singer recruited and are looking at drummers now. It's coming along a lot faster than I thought it would be.
