Duncan - Mustaine Live Wires.
Sounds really good, WAY different than my EMGs, but not in a bad way, just different. still getting used to them, guitar plays GREAT, and is very comfortable.

Now go to Mave's house, and tie Mr. Dustaine up, and force him to listen to you playing The Shortest Straw over and over for 4 days straight. It'll be fun.

 Re: TOS would be proud....
That could certainly work, too. Or The Call of Ktulu.

 Re: TOS would be proud....
Are they based on the Blackouts? A friend of mine has those in one of his Explorers now and... I thought they were a massive improvement over the 81s, honestly. There was an improvement in clarity in a band context.

 Re: TOS would be proud....
I don't doubt that. The passive versions are good pickups fer shure. I thought MegaDave used the Jazz in the neck forever so that's what his sig neck pickup would be based on? Not that the '59 would be a bad choice. Those are fine pickups, and I like Duncans in general, even their actives.

 Re: TOS would be proud....
Actually, it IS based off the Jazz, not the '59.
