Yeah seriously. Spent last night drinkng and smoking bud and cigarettes. Woke up at 6 am with a splitting headache and still drunk. Chugged glass after glass of water and downed some tylenol and advil.

Got to Central Park at around 9. Had to find my class before they left for the tour. Walked around in the cold for two hours, and found out on the subway ride back that the water bottle in my backpack was leaking the entire time.

Time to go lift then come back and pass out.

Brutal.

My drums are sounding really good recorded today.

Unfortunately, i haven't been able to play them for shit all day.

This has been wildly frustrating.

ALSO: I fucking hate spending hours recording something only to listen back hours later and realize that in trying to play the scratch tracks to a consistent tempo, i have fucked up an integral sway of the thing as it was originally written. And now some other important part that used to lay nicely over the top of the swaying bit, doesn't fit in the new space allotted.

I think today is just a retard/scratch sort of day. I would like to have it expunged from the permanent record of days.

Fucking thing sucks.

I think I may have recorded something half decent today.

On the subject of us recording things... Dimensions Divide bass tracks... getting done at a furious rate.

Two shows this weekend, tonight and Saturday. We're playing a bunch of new stuff and bringing the DMX-controlled lighting rig.

Did that myself a few months back, and it SUCKED. Same finger, same spot, i got myself pretty deeply with an exacto knife blade though. Took me a couple weeks to heal up all the way.
