Well it sat in its jug with an airlock on top (I used to work at a brew-your-own place, so I have a few of the brewing goodies) for a while... it didn't really do much for a week so I gave it more yeast which I properly activated ( as opposed to pouring it into the cold, sugar filled juice and just shaking ) and that got going for another week. I guess I am just fearful of what juice that has sat warmly for two weeks can do. I didn't sterilize jackshit.

Still probably a higher chance of success than the old prison put-fruit-punch-and-whitebread-in-a-trashbag-stuffed-behind-the-radiator style?

Honestly I think you'd have to get into distilling alcohols for a high enough concentration of methyl alcohol. I don't actually know this, but I figure that the majority of the alcohol that is produced is ethyl, and then there's all kinds of trace alcohols, and chances are I didn't make some little detail that instead turned it all into methyl.

Nah, really, you are right. The bigger concern for you, is actually going to be bacteria/mold/general nastiness.

I am just hitting a hard wall in writing stuff lately.

Everything sounds the same to me, and when i have been trying to get some new ideas down, i feel like i am just rehashing the same fucking idea over and over.

My playing lately is very uncreative. Basically, just going through DD songs to get my chops together for recording.

I'm probably ready to record, but I just don't want to fucking change the strings on my seven string (floyd rose).

The riff I wrote today is probably the best thing I have written in a month, and it is nothing special.

I've played my guitar way more in the past week than any other week of the year I think, had two gigs with ye olde cover band which just about covered the costs of my new car wheel I'm still wondering whether I should be bothering to try and find a band as I didn't enjoy the gigs at all
