I thought it would be shit but one night we put it on just to watch it for a few minutes and ended up watching the whole jive-ass motherfucker.

You have to appreciate a movie where a boom mic drops into shot because:

A) The director and editor did not notice.
B) The director and/or editor noticed, but did not have the money to re-shoot it.
C) The director and/or editor noticed, but did not care.

I thought the boom in shot was intentional.

All the ridiculous shit in Black Dynamite is intentional, Devski.
It's not an old movie, it's a modern parody of the old Blaxploitation shit shot with the old grainy style camera shit.

I know, I was referring to the actual Dolemite, or pretty much any blaxploitation flick.

The parody is pretty much nails its target. If you ever watch any of the old ones (I have seen waaaaay to many, they are amazingly awful trainwrecks) you would probably get a big kick out of them. They are in a way, a parody of themselves. Except you can tell the actors take it more seriously, and cheesily.
