Tonight I a staying up all night, as I begin the long and tedious process of packing up and moving house.

I FUCKING HATE MOVING.

Damn almost 24 hours with no new poasts in Off Topic... a new low for us.

Gigged last night at a new place, we extended the 2nd set, because it was starting to get misty and we were outside and not going to do the 3rd. No gig tonight, practice tomorrow, practice Mon, practice Tues, gig Saturday in Ct. Also, Mondays practice is for auditioning females singers... always fun. The management company has to approve the female singer, so they have to be hot as well as hold a tune.

Last night I experienced something no man should have to experience.

I have been busy packing and getting ready to move. Plus, the whole school and working shit and such. Of course, my roommate is out on a cruise right now, so until he gets back I am stuck trying to get as much done as possible.

If I get any more stressed, I might start Geoffing as well.

I tore a little fragile part on my peenor and it bled a bit. It'll be back to normal in a few days, but damn.

I am currently on Miz Jen's 'puter, ordering parts for my Hackintosh.


Also, Vol texted me before I got in the shower demanding to inspect my chamber pot. I informed her we phased this out with the advent of indoor plumbing and she had not received the memo. She claimed her abacus does not have texting capabilities, and demanded to know who was at fault. I informed her my secretary would be flogged upon the buttocks post-haste, and if she wished to observe she was welcome, if that's her thing. She informed me that if it wasn't her thing before, it certainly is now. This is the sort of random exchange that occurs.

We haven't seen the lady Vol 'round here in aeons, so i am going to just pretend that you were texted from beyond the grave by the philosopher Voltaire. And it turns out he is into scat.

Nice. Are you prepared for the battle of Mac-ifying the PC? Back when i first heard of it a ways back, it seemed kind of a headache-maker.

Actually, i would guess that by now it is a process fairly simplified, what with it being one of increasing popularity?

Prepared I is. I have the relevant tools and IT support. Chris from Garda has a functioning Hackintosh; the only issue he's had is with the graphics card. He Chose Poorly and just used one he had kicking around as proof-of-concept anyhow. (He also built computer networks for General Dynamics, M&T Bank, and is the IT guy for Independent Health in Buffalo...) I'm going with a known-to-function i7 build. I may change the RAM (you can only have 4gb installed on setup anyhow or it tells you "fuckoff!") and I'mma probably put it in a rack case. That's really it.
