Ah I think I got it around January, posted a thread. It's all about rim shots if you're unmiced and you need to make thebackbeat cut. It also helps if the drum is a hefty hunk of brass! The band after us I think might have had the vocals and guitars a lot louder, but they used my drums and the drums were very hard to hear... Which apparently was not such an issue for us. :D

Apparently my metalliband is back to me and the guitarist. Luckily he's a bitchin' drummer and we have a ton of stuff written. I suppose I go and make another record now. :wall:
