This is really fabulous. Is that The Shadow?

Yesterday, a friend from college sent me a picture he took of me back in the day on a large format polaroid camera.

I look terrible in it, like it was a mugshot circa 1932 and i had just been nabbed for cracking safes or something.



I should have worn a bandana/hat like this guy, for the photo shoot:



The sole upside, is that the bags under my eyes, which in modern days, i have tended to ascribe to a general old ageness, are indeed present even in the olde polaroide, which would have been a version of me at about a mere twenty years of age. Back then i wasn't really sleeping at all, so i guess it makes logical sense. But somehow it is comforting to know that yes, i have always looked like shit; it is not some new development now that i am becoming/have become, an old curmudgeon.

Yes I do believe that is the Shadow. I occasionally like to listen to the olde tyme radio sheeeoooows on XM or mp3.

I had really awful eye bags, dark circles, but somehow they have gone away substantially. Also, those kids smoking is cool.
