I saw a headline on Yahoo news about Obama's midwest tour. I can't help but picture him with Proper Roadies- balding d00ds with ponytails and baseball caps and old Slayer tour shirts with no sleeves, setting up lasers and fog machines.

So I saw my first brown bear today. Was happily nomming away on some leaves. I wanted to go and cuddle it but it would probably have ripped my face off

Stupidly I was riding around a few miles away from anywhere with nothing but my bike, camera and wallet. I'd only intended to do a few miles but got drawn in to the trails Bastard could've mugged me for the $50 I was carrying.

Something captivating about running to real wild animals like that. I mean zoo/slideshow shit, not deer etc... I've run into a few large animals, but my favorite so far was an Elk in Colorado, motherfuck was huge.....

Yeah it's pretty cool. There was a small fence separating us so it's not like I was right next to it, but seeing it was awesome. So long as I don't run into one that turns vicious

That's gnar dude. I saw my first bear (a black bear) in the car going north one morning. It just loped across the road all bearlike. Then we canoed to an island.

I saw another one when riding home from Whistler at night today. This one was much closer as it was just off the road on the same side as me. Suffice to say, brix were shat.

Fuckballs. I feel like I'm about to detonate. I had one coffee this morning; what gives? I feel like I just blew a fifty bag (complete with paranoia). The fuck?

Sugar/food levels?

Coincidentally, i feel a little like i am about to die myself. No obvious cause. Having run out of coffee a bit earlier in the week, i have been drinking tea in its stead lately, so i don't think caffeine is to blame. I feel: too warm, dizzy, and generally quite beshitted.

Actually, as i think of it, maybe i am experiencing not caffeine-based, but rather: coffee itself -based drug withdrawal symptoms. I don't know how that science would work, but as one generally prone to distrust tea anyhow in these sorts of situations, i currently find it plausible enough. A thing is a poor substitute in my opinion, if one needs to consume four times the quantity to achieve but a shadow of the result.

Realistically my issue is one proper food-based. So i will feed. But now that it has come to mind, i do think that afterwards i will aim to spend my last few dollars on real live coffee beans. In the event that food fails, i would hate to die with only that inferior: tea, in my gut.

That's at least as likely as someone having spiked my coffee with time-release cocaine whilst I was in the facilities. I've consumed foodstuffs at least twice in the past... thirteen hours, including things that contain Actual Nutrition. I'm fairly stumped.
