Sorry I haven't been able to be on more lately. I didn't have a computer for most of the summer, and once I finally got one, I got my hand broken. So no me gusta. But now it's getting a bit better, so hopefully I'll be able to hang out with you homos more...

So basically my buddy was going to fast on a dirt road in his wrangler, hit a washboard, got sideways, and rolled. I grabbed for the rollbar when I saw we were going to roll, and the jeep went over my hand. If I hadn't been wearing my seatbelt, I would have been ejected. This is how it looked the night of the accident.

Today I have an appointment to see how things are healing. My index finger had shifted a bit, since it broke in 4 places, and they basically said they did the best they could. If it has continued to shift and isn't healing, I have to have a second surgery where they go into my femur, bonesaw a piece of it off, machine it into the shape of my index carpal, then put it in my hand. I really don't want that to happen, because it sounds like the most horrendous thing ever. So yeah, that's basically what I've been up too, sorry I haven't been on as much lately.

At least it was only broken bones. From the looks of how much the a-pillar and door on your side bent, it looks like it could have been a fair bit worse even than that.

Haha thanks guys. I should have opted for the Wolverine plate implants, but I wasn't sure if the retractable technology was quite there yet. I figured non-retractable ones could lead to awkward (or awesome) sex, interviews, and social galas. I have the appointment in an hour, and I'm super nervous, but hopefully it all goes ok. I'll keep you guys posted.

My appointment on tuesday went pretty well. I don't have to wear a splint anymore, but my hand looks fucking gnar as shit. Also I have to do occupational therapy now, which blows. I won't know if they need to do the second surgery until a few months from now. I'm going to be pissed if I have my hand working back to normal and they say I need it. I think it is finally time for me to learn guitar left handed though!
