Devin and I have agreed it would be separate from Banthammer. Banthammer is for funny, silly stuff whereas this would be for serious shit. We have been making up a battle plan and we both already have lots of songs written. I guess it's up to figuring out which we would use and are appropriate and writing bass and second guitar parts and all that fuckin' jazz.

I would be up for an e-band because I can't find any fuckers in my area Of course it's likely to end up a bit Banthammer but it's worth a go.

We got fuckin' bears coming out of our ears right now over hurr was just walking home from the bank and a guy in a car stopped and said "hey buddy there's a bear just round the corner, you might wanna cross the road" It's awesome how little of a fuck bears give, they just stroll around like they own the place. I r fascinated.

I think I done had the most redneck moment of my life. Listened to an Allman Brothers song in my new pickup truck. Felt like I was a tin of snuff and a gunrack from becoming Larry the Cable Guy. Or a pair of glasses and a Roger Staubach haircut away from becoming Hank Hill, now that my work is going to be selling propane and propane accessories, I tell you what.

Been sort of acquaintanced to this guy for a few years, don't remember why. Lately he's been playing so much and I've been on the train so much that sometimes I don't even nod at him anymore when I pass by, seems too strained when I'm too much of an ass to actually go over and have a conversation with him anymore. Anyway seems they won't renew his busking license so he's going to be going on sabbatical so to speak this Friday. Maybe I should break my silence and offer my greetings, if he isn't playing to prime traffic the next time I see him play...

I'm beginning to realize that there is really no use in continuing to be a Christian when I disagree with so much of the philosophy... I at least disagree with the way it is taught in my religion classes. I always rationalized it saying I disagreed with peoples distortions of it and that true Christianity was nothing like they said, but idk, there really is no use in continuing to be one when I have a different outlook on life. I believe whoever or whatever God is is much broader and more cosmic than Christianity's rather (arguably, at least traditional Christianity) primitive view on God. For example, Christianity teaches we must transcend sin through Christ for unity with God. I believe unity with God (who I see as love) to be a free gift, a gift that cannot be truly realized until we transcend our human ignorance. I know most of you are atheists/agnostics, but still, what are your views of this? I see the whole idea of Christianity as a beautiful example for what we should all be, Christ is an amazing figure. Love they neighbor as thyself is something I agree with completely, and his death on the cross for our sin is a touching embodiment and a great example, but many other things in the Bible (and most classical interpretations) are in major disagreement with me. I like to say that for now, my religion is love. All the other specifics I can figure out later.

Religion is a primitive tool created as a deterrent for undesirable behavior. It provided consequence for one's actions. We are intelligent animals with no spirit or soul. Shut the fuck up and go to sleep, you have school tomorrow.

I disagree. Sure, religion has been watered down to be that, and sure many religions are based on fear, but I believe religion itself can do a lot of good in the world when used in the right way. Of course, most people twist it, but that does not mean religion itself is bad. Idk I believe in a soul, I just do, not something I can test or explain. What that soul is, needs, and where it will end up is something I cannot answer.

Religion has done nothing that pure common sense and goodwill could not have done.
