Whilst in Seattle last night I went to a record store close my buddy and his girlfriend's apartment and bought End Hits, In on the Kill Taker and Steady Diet of Nothing on CD. They go to Cornish art school and live on Capitol Hill, superhipsterville. The time I have been spending there has led me to seriously consider going there for jazz guitar.

What a wonderful voice. (Obviously my take on wonderful is kinda skewed.)
I consider it not unlikely I will wind up a Cave/Cash/Cohen/Waits sort of singer-songwriter at some point, at least for an album.
Now, I think the only real instrument on here is the bass guitar. And I love synths. But I would not have backed ol' Lenny here up with them (as much as the drum machine gives it some drive) were I the producer and there was any budget at all. (Granted this is not recent and that was the style at the time.)
Though a real string section, choir et al. might make this damn near unbearable and it is a hard listen as it is.
tor would like this song I'm betting quite a bit, dollars-to-donuts.
