This is notoriously a bad weekend for gigs, one last night there was people there nut they were all to full from overeating and shopping. One guy fell asleep in front of us cranking it and pissed himself.

Another gig tonight, not expecting much, but this is one of 3 best clubs on the Island, so hoping maybe a few people will be there. This is the band with management and we usually get a nice crowd anyway. 11:30-3:30 is a decent late night though...

And yeah, it is. I've done worse, but we're all pretty hard on ourselves when things go wrong. People were there, they cheered and danced, we made money. Saul Goodman.

Our drummer's nephew was in town- apparently he shot video? He edits porno in LA, seriously.

To Geoff: yeah, I don't get the week off thing, but bands do it. Now granted in this case I do understand our bassist killing off his vacation days and, well, our other multi-instrumentalist just sold his house and is moving. So, er, they have an excuse.

To Cam: I am going to use that time to Finish Things. I set both goals and limitations for myself and am holding things up to a certain standard. That and the working on them on-and-off... I admit that's slowed things massively down, and treating it as an educational thing. That last bit over the top is the hardest bit to get. That sense of space, dimension, detail and clarity and of course I wind up working with some of the most difficult possible stuff to mix, and not for lack of sonic quality but for the sheer density of the stuff. I'm also sitting on completed mixes and probably won't post anything else until decisions have been made. I nailed the fattest bass tone tonight...

Well then last ight it was the complete opposite. huge club I couldn't even move. We went on at 12:10 did 3 sets, place was thumping/ Complete opposite from Friday. Matter of fact my drummer shot a pic from the stage at 2:48 am (according to time stamp) so it had emptied out quite a bit

Guitars are done for the Abnormality full-length. Just bass and vocals left to record...then all the fun productiony things that Mr. Rutcho will do.

My week just keeps getting awesomer and awesomer. Met a chick at karaoke and she grinded on me when she sang "I Touch Myself". And we're hanging out this weekend.
