Yet another failure to record as satisfying of vocals as I did before. I have been perpetually sick lately, and I am pretty sure my smoking is fucking up any chances of success.

I always have a horrible sore throat the day after I've been smoking. I do love smoking when I'm drinking

Smoking cigarettes or da weedz? I love smoking cigarettes when I am drunk as well. My problem is I like to smoke weed whenever I am inhaling and exhaling oxygen (pretty much all of the time). I don't really smoke cigs anymore though.

I don't really "mong out" or whatever. I do what I do every day baked. Go to work, run errands, deal with random motherfuckers, etc. When my buddies and I first started smoking we were all fairly active while doing so. We'd go on walks, go to the mall or whichever lame ass place seem like a good idea when you're 15. Not that we'd never just play video games and bullshit, but I think getting used to operating in public blazed as fuck early got me ready for later on.

We always used to rip a bong and watch an episode of Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman. It makes you think enough when you're sober, nevermind baked

I'd poasted some traxx a good long while ago I'd done with a tranny friend of mine, some filthy blues-goth, and I suppose I'mma be making a record out of that now; she has a Live Human Drummer and everything. Gotta say, it was one of the neater projects I've worked on.

Also, I'm fronting/leadguitaring an acquaintance's band for a Sisters cover (Alice; a fave-o-rite of mine. Thankfully I've had the thing memorized for many years) at Convergence. Their idea, not mine. They also offered us another show out of town (Rochester again, Mr. tor, a few weeks later. Different venue.)

I went to see some spiffy bands this evening for networking porpoises and because I figger'd it would be a good rockshow. And it was. More show offers and contact information issued forth, which I dutifully passed on to my drummer. There is a little scene here now for people who make Our Kind Of Noise, it seems, and somewhere along the line we've either played with these persons or they've seen us or just know of us from recorded work and dig what we're on about.

The one band, I was not expecting to be full-on proper noise rawk. They had a large former piece of sheet metal something with a pig painted on it attached to a kick pedal (tall enough the drummer could whale the tar out of it as well), an out-of-tune upright piano and a drill onstage. At one point (a synth-less cover of Gary Numan's Metal) the vocalist had a deer skull strapped to his head and was flagellating himself with a belt. At another point they announced that they were going to take off their pants because This Is The Rock Music, and proceeded to do so. And then yell about something-or-other in the eyes of The Lord. Lots of feedback, stuttery noises, bad reverb and general dirtiness.

Needless to say, good times were had.

Well I got wrecked last night and have the next 2 weekends off as well, score my new slick haircut went down a treat

Also it turns out that running does fuck your knees up even with proper shoes. My left one is killing me after a week and a half of it

Begun my first acid trip 3 hours ago. Feels good, man. Just one hit unfortunately, I've always planned on two, but this was sprung on me and I can't complain about free drugs.

I like acid.

At least you will have an idea of what you are in for when you take two, but if it is good 'cid one dose should get ya tripping a bit.

It still amazes me how quickly a strong coffee can kick-start inhumane bowel movements. That is all.
