I've got no motivation to study for my final tomorrow. I worked it out and all I need to get to pass the course is a 24.5. That would get me a final grade of 60, (passing might be 50+). Either way, it's my last final before I graduate friday and I don't give a fuck about anything anymore.

Yeah I was kind of the same way at the end of this school year. I was all As the first semester, doing the bare minimum by finals.

Took me about 2 hours and 45 minutes to finish it. It's all in God's hands now.

Man, I really kinda want to get the fuck out of here and get my ass up to Alaska. Get fucking clean, write and record a fuckton of music. I am hoping this next season should be really productive. I have so much fucking material, probably a couple hours worth, yet I am so lazy and just want to smoke weed all day.

If you don't already drink massive quantities of coffee, start. And start doing club drugs instead. If you feel the need to mellow out, there's always alcohol and pills. You'll be a lot more productive this way. Now, granted, this is a lot worse for you than just rockin' the ganj, but hey, that's rock and roll.

Alternately, you could just get away from it all and go do the lumberjack thing or whatever the hell it is you do in Alaska. But where's the harm in that?

I used to drink coffee regularly in high school, but it seems that habit kind of fell off the deep end the last couple years. I still drink it, but sparingly in comparison to how I once operated.

On the bright side of shitty, I am going to vaporizing the majority of my weed from now on. No more big bongs at my house and shit. My lungs take a serious beating and it definitely takes it's toll on my voice. After having not smoked for that week a few months ago my voice felt/sounded comparatively amazing after just 2 days. Way more resonance and better tone because my shit wasn't all gummed up with mucus. Hopefully strictly vaping for a little should approximate the same deal.

And: I don't want you to think I am competely disregarding the club drugs comment. Maybe coke and ecstasy is just what I need.

Mostly though, I think: I need to get the fuck out of here. And I need to get the fuck to Alaska. And I need to clear out my fucking head. And I think need to figure some shit out about myself, because I know that I am not content with this existence. Certainly I can't continue to subject myself to a life I know is not most conducive to what I want to do with my time on this shabby ass planet. Whether it be moderation or complete abstinence, I need to choose a side. Basically: I need to grow the fuck up. Hopefully with haste.

Don't take me too seriously on that- there's a large ball of snarky there. (I am. after all, saying "do tons of drugs all the time- it will make you awesome". )

The last paragraph is insightful though. That you have a legitimate escape, somewhere to go that physically removes you from your current circumstances and the people and situations involved... Is a positive thing for a critical, reflective person.

And I almost feel like I'm spilling the proverbial beans saying this, but: Figuring Shit Out, as it were, is often a passive thing. I think you know/understand this though; just getting out of where you are and changing your surroundings will be more productive than any contemplation or soul-searching you'll do where you are now. One falls into habits and modes of thought for a reason; you find yourself when you're not looking.

But I digress and am too damn tired to be coherent about it.

Also, not to sound dickish, but you have to stop saying, "Oh, if I just [your excuse here], I'll break through and start being productive."

I have decided that I wish to be an overweight alcoholic musician for the rest of my life. However, I have bills to pay and gear to buy, so I've settled for being an overweight alcoholic musician/mechanic for lack of a better solution.

I'm content with that.

Been a kind of weakass couple weeks for me. Mainly normal old brainstuff. I am a bit further along than some of you doods in years, and i still haven't figured out Thing #1 about what to do wif myself. They seem to comes in waves, the brainspaces when this fact becomes alternately more or less unbearable/mentally unacceptable. Last couple of weeks was a bit of the lower end of the swing.

As often is the case, what it came down to for me to make it swing back the other way, was to step the fuck back from everything. And then to build stuff. With physical violence. Electronics are nice, and i like learning about them and building with them, but it is still, at its core, a mostly sedentary process from beginning to end.

I seem to need to be a bit more proactive in mixing in the Construction Of Things With Violence, so that i can retain my general desire to battle with and win against, existence.

This month has been good for going out drinking. This weekend will involve another two nights of debauchery

My sweet ass roadtrip holiday is coming together. Basically we're hiring one of these:


Then we're taking a week to drive through europe stopping in some cool places to milan to watch the F1 at monza. Basically we get to drive a sweet merc through the alps! We also got swanky tickets for the F1 in one of the better grandstands. Luckily we have an assload of hotel and hire car vouchers. Its still not the cheapest holiday ever but I've not been on holiday in 6 years so fuck it.
