Revival Mode is a good track but not really feeling many of the others so far. Guess it'll take a few listens, I didn't like NJA to start with but that grew on me a lot.

As an aside, Tomahawk has a new album coming out later this year. Trevor Dunn from Mr. Bungle is their bassist now, alongside messers. Denison, Stanier and Patton. That should add another level of eff't up.

He does seem perhaps a more interesting(to me) choice than Rutmanis, even though i like that dood's stuff plenty also.

Aslo, i haven't been listening to enough Skinny Puppy.

Aslo aslo, it may be 90% due to the mpeg compression, but that U.S.S.A. toon seemed slightly less than the degree of badassedry i was opeing fore.

Well many listens in and I'm quite liking the album. Definitely much more technical drum and riff wise. Typical Miracle, Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow and Drag King are some good stuff.

I expect him to be a little more nutser, bass-wise; the bassing on the Tomahawk records never really stuck out to me, and I've listened to them plenty.
