I has bummer too, since I was the one who wanted it there forever.

Been messing around with some nifty tools in my game development. Managed to get this very rough game out, but it is basically a test of the character controllers, animations, physics, enemy controllers and input controls.

So you move with WASD, hit Space to Jump and click to shoot a fireball at the enemies.

I haven't made any sort of GUIs or mechanics for player and enemy health yet, but you can kill the enemies by jumping on them or hitting them with a fireball.

The character movement physics are a bit weird right now, I am fine tuning them to my liking, but you can double and wall jump.

If anyone has ever been interested in game development, I am at the beginning of the learning process but would definitely be down to share what I have so far (knowledge and software) and work on some projects with people.

Is there a quick/simple way to DL that as a whole? Or does one have to go to each individual piece and download them one at a time?

I actually have no idea, let me see if I can do something about that.

I added them all to .rars, give it a minute to upload then you can just grab the archives.

I rather enjoy the way the arms hang back when running. I am however properly terrible at controlling this sort of game.

The game is pretty neat so far.

I found out you can wall jump infinitely. If you just keep running towards the wall and double jumping. Is there going to be a story to this game or just load up and play?

yar, I'm pretty much a 'tard controlling this. my jumping looks much like suicide. pretty cool though Dev.

Yeah it will eventually be a polished game, this is just a prototype for the movement, controls and animation.


And yeah the guy is really hard to control right now.

I just looked through my old facebook pictures and fucking hell I used to be a proper chunk monster :eek: even photos from xmas I look chunky in, somehow have slimmed right down this year. The end for my body fat is nigh It's hard re-training myself mentally though, I still think of myself as the fat kid because its been that way for 22 years.

I'm going through a similar transformation right now todge. Down a couple of stone and not for off my target weight but I fucked my ankle up which has cut any serious cycling out for the immediate future at least so I've stepped onto phase 2 a little early (I hover at 83-84 kg, wanted to hit 80 first) which is three lots of weight training and interval training through the week and then low intensity riding for fun on the other days. Hopefully this will burn the rest of the fat off me and I should acquire some guns on the way

I still see my self as fat (not in a degrading way, just being honest with myself) even though I've lost a fair chunk. Its because I don't want to get complacent and sleep walk back into bad habits and I can see where I want to be in 3, 6 and 12 months time. I intend being a hotter piece of ass through my 30's then for how I spent most of my 20's.

I read the abstract. Pretty interesting stuff, I got a bit into the final revised paper but I started to not understand things pretty quickly.
