Pretty much I think I would have found out earlier if my phone wasn't so shit though, it had no signal for the majority of the journey However there was nothing that could really be done about it as they were stuck out on location and had a strict deadline for the end of the day so couldn't just cancel what they were doing nature of the industry I guess.. the guy was really apologetic and I've rescheduled for Tuesday anyway. Perhaps they will look more favourably on "the guy who drove here twice"

I tend to do it with whatever gauge I'd prefer for Eb standard, but I discard the smallest one and buy an individual bass string.

gig confirmed... and they asked if we could fill in for this Friday night also... I said only an acoustic thing, as some of the members, (I am now a member of the band I sit in with...) could not do it, other gigs, so I told the guy I could get him out of a jam by doing acoustic, he said great, but I warned him that we could bring little with no promotion, he asked if we could do it for $200, and we not ask for a cover charge, and I said that would be fine since there's only 2 of us. And since I could seriously walk to said establishment.
