Water is actually a very interesting element in instrument designs to me. It is so wobbly and resonant, doesn't damp the ringing of things in it very much at all, but can drastically effect the tones made by how it does damp.

The presence of teeth, (as well as the absence of any apparent digestive system(or even physical space/room for the same)) is simply another part of the mystery that is Pac Man.

How is it that we can know less about the Pac Men than we do of the dinosaurs? A sad stumbling of Science? Or have we simply been looking in the wrong places?

Would Pac Men be better off with baleen?

The eating motion would appear to be somewhat incompatible with baleen. Also, the little white balls look several hundred times larger than even the largest krill that is likely to be encountered. It just doesn't seem physiologically workable.

Though again, the question remains, where the fuck is all of this food... going?

Unless... Maybe it is not food at all? Were the Pac Men merely heavily addicted pill-poppers? Is this why they would profess to being able to "see ghosts", and even: to die from "contact" with the apparitions?

It does all sound a bit like drug talk, no?
