I suck so bad at platformergames, prototype or nawt. But still it is cool to see what you are up to.

I dunno I saw about an hour before I left work. But the sound was terrible, vocals way too loud in the mix and yet the singers all sounded really weak. Pet Shop Boys bit was particularly dire. I missed the giant squid which does actually sound quite awesome. But then there was loads of cheesy synchronised dance routine stuff which I absolutely despise.

My pedal plans have taken been postponed as the money I had saved up just when to a groupon for two make your own beer classes + basic equipment + ingredient kit

RE: Olympics: I have the advatage of being semi international. When I saw the opening ceremony live on one of the international channels it was pretty shitacular. When I saw the replay on NBC its was night and day. Everything was as expected, clear and very nice sounding Doesn't Muse play?

Can you confirm the presence of a fucking gigantic squidoctopus on the stage? I can't find the pictar i saw. Did i imagine it?

Really, that is all of the Olympics that i am concerned with.

Epic weekend of debauchery was epic. There are large portions of last night I only have vague memories of. Of course the proper conclusion to a night of going to show/drinking at bars is going to someone's house to consume more. At one point we were reduced to opening up ginseng capsules and trying to do lines of them off of my not-my-significant-other's coffee table. Woke up in bed with the aforementioned and the singer from my friends' band after, er, knocking over the futon in the living room, because gravity does not like three people on one side of a futon.

I will say this though. I feel like for $14.5 billion or whatever, they could have had a lot more octopi, and a lot less sports and bad discopop.

The achievement of a gigantic squidoctopus signifies Success in general for the Games, but it certainly doesn't mean that they did not underachieve in getting there.

I had put on about 8 minutes of the closing ceremony, in which I managed to see some chick in a bedazzled outfit, Taio Cruz and some gentleman in a brightly colored jacket all driven around in cars, then the Spice Girls came out. In Cars. I seriously tried to change the channel but my brain swelled up with rage and I went into some type of paralysis/shock and it wasn't until a mind numbing commercial that the swelling in my brain went down enough so that I could move my arm to turn the bloody channel. Had I known there were Octosquids, I would have a had an IV with vodka drip attached so I could have made it through to the beast.

Sat night gig at local club fun but nothing special, the special part came when we had to be on a ferry at 10:00 in the am for our 1 pm start at a club in Fire Island. When we just got off stage at 4 am. That's about a 30-40 minute ferry ride. With my gear. over water. Salt Water. Well I did not bring my favorite guitars, and I contemplated not bringing the Bogner, I was in a panic while the longshoremen loaded my precious. I will not bring it next time. The people at these gigs wouldn't even notice the difference. They would be happy with a line 6 pod plugged in the board.
