I'm all about tourtiere. That is the shit, man.

I like to add a layer of sauteed mushrooms and a layer of cheddar cheese to it. Take it right over the top.

Also, pecan pie. Pecan pie is the shit.

I come from a long line of tourtiere peoples. Just myself i probably make fifteen a year or so? It is exceedingly difficult to fuck with a pie that is essentially, 99% meats. Of course, the specific one i make is actually, literally, about 99% meats. I enjoy all of the various types of the canuckistani pie, but the 100% pork one is the one i am moast traditionally/mentally attached to. It is the pie of my peoples.

There is something to be said for the one that contains potato and carrots, IMO. And apple cider. But indeed, a pure meat one simply cannot fail!

Though i must also note, that my moast favoritest quiches, are swine-bearing. The veggable type are quite serviceable, however.

Between the French Canadians, and the Alsace Lorraineians, my peoples are simply of a meatatarian sort.

Minipies: always a good idea.

One of my preferred quiche techniques involves the addition of a pile of broccoli to the standard Quiche Lorraine swine/swiss collection. That is a tasty motherfucking quiche, yo.

That is of course the danger of the minipie. One generally might not be inclined to consume a whole fullpie by themselves in one go, but could easily consume one or two fullpies worth of minipies without even noticing.
