Could it really be much worse than what George Lucas has been doing to the franchise lately? :idk:

true, but it's Disney. My only hope was that Tim Burton would buy it and it would get very dark. (Except what role would Johnny Depp play? And Helena Bonham Carter???)

I would love to see Tim Burton remake the first three. And maybe Jedi.

Depp would bring interesting angles to Solo, Skywalker, Lando, or indeed, if we are talking about a remake of the prequels, to Jar Jar Binks. Though he might also be a bit of drunken fun as a reboot on the Obi Wan character, eh?

Helena Bonham Carter would make a properly odd princess whateverthefuck luke's mom's name is in those movies.

hmmm. yes. How about Quentin Tarantino? He would have know how to cast Samuel Jack, would have made a great Sith instead of the Jedi master he was. Travolta as, maybe Han Solo, Tim Roth as Boba Fett, but whatt about Harvey Keitel, and Bruce Willis, Steve buscemi? hmmm

I would love to see Episode 3.5 where Darth Vader just lays down ruin to the Galaxy.

Buscemi maybe Greedo or the "death sentence in twelve systems" guy from the Cantina scene(in keeping with his thing of getting blasted or chopped up in like ninety percent movies he has been in).

I say Keitel in a darker reading of S.L. Jackson's jedi. Jackson himself, would have to be that one Sith the the double lightsaber thing. He would have to talk more though.

I am thinking Bruce Willis becomes Admiral "It's A Trap!" Ackbar.

Tim Roth might also make an interesting Emperor Palpatine.

I don't know if Travolta is cool enough to be Solo. Actually Keitel might be interesting there too.
