I just realized I have a serious fear of heights. I dont know when it started, but even watching heights on TV fuck with me. I cant even think about leaning over the side of a fucking building without feeling paralyzed. I need to get drunk.

Pretty much. I have a severe fear of ladders too. Can't even stand on the bottom rung without shaking like a leaf.

I love heights. I used to run the climbing wall and ropes course (think obstacle course, but 25 ft. high in the trees) at the camp I worked at. Fun stuff.

I fear people. In my line of work it is not uncommon to be held up at gun point, escpecially if you work at a shitty little place (like I do). As a matter of fact, there is a BOLO out right now on a guy robbing hotel front desks with an "Uzi type machine/handgun." To further complicate things, the places next door and across the street are fucking slum-style crack dens. I have even met the slum lord herself. She is related to the people who own the company I work for.

Awkward social situations, mainly if I'd have to be the centre of attention

Big gap jumps (on teh mtb). Similarly, the thought of my tyres washing out when I'm turning at speed.

I love doing that shit too. For me, its just anything ten or more stories high and I have to be on the roof top..... I guess its not that bad, I was just being a baby last night.

I just need to accept the fact I will die alone and that the only reason anyone will find my corpse is the fact my bassist is a cop and he'll wonder why I didn't show up perfectly on time to rehearsal like I always do.

I feared that I ran out of cinnabon cereal but I checked and I still had some, so Ill make a bowl in a bit.

She did pick my lock a couple weeks ago with a Starbucks card because the bottom lock on my front door was fux0red. That was pretty sweet. She'd probably be pretty confused why I didn't call her back two days in a row if we had plans. It's a toss-up between those two. I'm mostly being snarky anyhoo.

The lack of cereal is definitely worth fearing. I ran out of garlic the other day myself.

Used to be afraid of heights (who isnt?)- 4 months of painting houses on 24-30 foot ladders fixed that a little.

I can't really think of any phobias off the top of my head... though the thought that the RIAA wants to get its grubby hands onto extra taxes for computer hardware (because computers can be used to pirate music! what a crock of shit) and wants to eliminate net neutrality REALLY bothers me.

I guess i really fear the thought that later in my life, i will not have the same freedoms of expression and use of technology that i have today. I dunno... i guess its just fucked that almost everybody out there thinks that they and only they are doing the right thing, and sometimes that thing they want to do will impede my ability to live my life how i want to.
