If I were to be hard drugs dude, heroin would be my digs no doubt. Can't fuck with uppers, but I can't be fuckin' with dem hard drugs shit though either. As a quicky serious commentary on the subject: I have a hard time understanding how normal people get themselves into those situations. Tormented, abused people I can understand, but so many upper middle class shitheads who went to my high school were messing with that shit while I was there, now a bunch have ruins of friendships and family and have fucked their brains/emotional state so bad they are like, nonpersons. (!!SURPRISING SURPRISE!!)

But yup, I gotta say it. Heroin just seems like the only way to go. At least it's natural and you can smoke it.

I dunno I reckon MDMA would be the way to go. Never seem to have that bad a comedown and it's well fun, I loved walking home at 7am in the sun wearing my mates girlfriends hoody and feeling amazing The only bad thing I've had is when I considerably gnawed the inside of my mouth, it was rough as fuck for ages.

Drums have been killing me lately. I think I do better when I'm unfamiliar with songs than when I know them by heart.

Also, I don't know if the resonance changes in my head, or if I subconsciously alter my technique, but I think my singing voice gets brighter when I have earplugs in. Also, I think I may have accidentally pulled my chest voice up to an F#5.

And on the drug subject, surely you guys can get more obscure.

You should sing in a power metal band. Maybe a funny booze themed one. It'd be sweet!

My folks are kinda hassling me to take my drums outta their basement. To be fair, they've been sitting there for years. They are not good drums, but I wouldn't mind having a kit on hand. I will have to see re: the neighbors. Cop/works nights, so might not be a big deal. Really need new heads, though. They needed new heads then.

Friend of mine just picked up one of those Agile LP's. he says it's great, far better than his Epi Custom. His Epi Custom seemed pretty nice, but I have not played the Agile.

Re: Agile LPs, the guy we work with at Ze Big Studio was going on about them, having played a couple. And he has nice Gibsons himself and access to all the high-end toys in the world. Really does make one stop and think. (And I love some of the finishes.)

I like the fact the connections are on the front. Some people bitch about that sorta thing, but I appreciate it; makes patching easier without having to get behind the rack all the damn time. (Which makes me appreciate having the open server racks at home and the 'drome.)

Nah, I will have to check it today. I haven't tried to record anything in the past couple of days with Thanksgiving bullshit going on. People should be coming over today and tomorrow to jam though, so I will def check it out and hopefully try out the new preamp on them seshuns.
