 Re: The Chris Thread
Having Tesla on your currency is significantly cooler than having royalty or presidents. Mr. Franklin is the only man of Science we have on our currency here in The States. Yes, Lincoln did patent something and Jefferson at least rates as a thinker, but scientists they were not. Franklin at least made a noteworthy contribution to science, independent of politics.
This makes me wonder, were there Maplitonian currency, who would be on it? I do remember it would likely be very inconvenient to handle. Tesla is an obvious choice. Certainly not Edison.

 Re: The Chris Thread
Herr O'Casm had a whole list, i think it was on this version of maps too? EDIT: Ah yes, this one veers off into those earlier currency discussions: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=771And this is the generally more recent one about materials from which to hew the stuff: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2652&p=46896I think that if there is one thing about Maplitonian currency, it is that we will be producing a lot of it, due largely to my love of inflationary price tags. The side effect of this of course, is we will have lots of people we can put on things.

 Re: The Chris Thread
Wait, wait a minute... WTF? I remember seeing something on some show or other- some "worst jobs" sorta thing where some long-gloved vet had to stick their arm up to the elbow in a horse's arse and haul out horseshite by the handful. That was pretty nasty. The bit that makes this awesome is the Wii in someone's living room, and the, er... Controller.
