Started up stronglifts 5x5 again last week and my knee is already giving me shit with my squats at a pitiful 60kg

Todge: perhaps try dropping the weight right down and do goblet chair squats to realy focus on the form and avoid over extension. I have bad knees and I do these with low weight (15kg or so dumbbell) while I build up the strength in the joint. I take it real slow, 2-3 seconds down, 2-3 seconds up, concentrating on form throughout. It's not quite the same as going heavy but it still provides a good workout without stressing my knees. The chair stops you from over extending which is a particularly good thing for me as the ligaments in my left knee are shot as my kneecap has been on the wrong side of my leg a few times Hopefully that will help you out. If thats not working out then perhaps try a 10-12x3 set with a lower weight. again be really anal with form. Bad form with squats and deadlifts will fuck you right up!
