And so, being reasonably certain that all residents/workers were clear of the tunnels, i filled them back in with rocks, pounded into place with a large hammer, and then obscured the former build sites with large flat rocks, which, honestly, i will be impressed if the little shits can engineer a removal of.

My father has been trapping the rodent/lagomorphic proletariat and removing them to the local parks in their vague general area (roughly 20 miles from where I live, so not in the city) for a few years now with live traps. This is an option. Apparently they don't come back if you take them far enough away.

EDIT: that's about where they live; they are not taking my rodents. But they have removed rabbits, woodchucks, and dozens of squirrels and chipmunks. And I think a raccoon once. Obviously the deer don't fit. Opposums, foxes and the one time they had a fucking porcupine- that was weird as I didn't think they were native to here- nothing strange. But your rodents can be relocated.

Definitely some rabbits that seem based around the back section of the yard.

And i haven't seen them in a bit, but we had a small stack of groundhogs hanging around last year.

I kind of feel like maybe they all just want the property back? It would almost be meaner of me to let them have it, than the mass relocations and whatnot, which seem likely to have to follow the general increase in critter boldness that has been cropping up, will be.

Loved the bit about the chipmunks and its moving skills. We get raccoons, fuckery squirrels, rabbits, and had a snake, but i have not seen the snake in a good long time. Our squirrels are about the worst, but i am actually fond of the fuckers.

Pretty funny (though not surprisingly) how much more plainspoken my lyrics become when I have been doing some drinking. I begin to ignore rhyme schemes and embrace stream of consciousness sortz of deals. It is a nice change of pace and adds some variety to what I fear is a fairly repetitive style.
