While drinking bad beer and feeling like a pent up cave man.

I wish there were drunken metal heads for me to hang out with around here. I knew one who is in fact so drunken that he has physical issues, but alas, he is also insane and had to be cut loose.

I really don't listen to these guys enough i think.

Is one that my head gets along with far too well.

Their flavor of metal is something that i genuinely enjoy. I would love a whole record that was consistently in this style, even though i do like it as a sledgehammer foil to the Morricone wannabe filmscore style shit they do.

Thing is growing to maybe be my favorite. Takes patience for a short attention span'd bastard like me, but it is starting to really get under my skin.

I am not sure which I find more profound (MY WORD OF THE MONTH), this man's words or his melodies.

IT HAS ARRIVED

Wow, this thing is seriously brash and weird as fuck so far. When one considers what this band sounds like in the first place, that is really saying something.

It is kind of hard for me to say this, but I am not really sure I like this album much..

Truly, thing makes my head essplode.

I am really digging the hell out of her the past few days. It's electronica, plus violin.

Looking back, I am more into this then I was before by a good bit, but a lot of the infectious pop things are gone and have been replaced with some truly weird, scary shit.There is some fairly avant garde-y sounds on a majority of the tracks, this thing is absolutely insane. I guess Companymen was sort of an indicator in some way, because it is just so goddamned bizarre with the time sig and looseness of the synths, but there is still a pop song woven into the fibers of the batshit.
