For the very bored- what regions of the US (for the Americans on here) is your speech most like?

Unsurprisingly, my word usage marks me as from either New York or, oddly, north Jersey. And most dissimilar to- again unsurprisingly- residents of Alabama and Mississippi.

Fucking perfect. I would absolutely love it if someone started producing edison-style players again. You would have to figure that the chinese could do it for less than $20 a pop. Could hardly be more simple, and a lot of the basic parts required could potentially be repurposed from regular modern record players.

I have always wanted to to some '20s-style recordings. That is one that has been on the back burner for like twenty years for me now.

I am however a little confused as to how they individually recorded the 50 cylinders without taking them from a master? Are they saying that tiny tim recorded them all back in the day, i.e. that he tracked the tune 50 times?
