Looks like I am headed home here real shortly. Which is kinda suckshitty, because as much as I hate this place, these people and this climate it means I am going to be out a large chunk of change. Was going to be working on the military base up here but got jipped out of the work, which means lots less moneyz (any state or federally funded job up here pays stupid amounts) that I will not be having in my possession.

But, atleast I will be going home and shiz. I have a lot of stuff lined up to get to recording which is purity sick.

Just snagged a couple pretty decent deals on a used Beta 57 and a used Audix i5. I am now feeling pretty at ease about recording aggressive guitar tones, which I will be doing a decent amount of.

WOAH FUCK. Mixing together some new and old pieces, I have written what I consider to be one helluva bangin' ass song. Equal parts Fugazi, Converge type metalcore riffage plus a mathrock middle section. Oh boy, I am excite.. And playing on this acoustic sure is helping me play a lot cleaner, that is fo sho.

Yeah, the acoustic thing does that. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Stuck in this cabinhouse for the third day in a row. There's no coffee, no car and my fingertips hurt too bad to play guitar. But, I should be flying out some time today.

Think I might be getting hooked up with a dishwashing job at a restaurant my culinarybadass homeboy works at in downtown Seattle. I have been told it's pretty hard work, but that is cool with me and the hours seem to my liking. Also, there are benefits and paid timeoff, as well as free booze and food to be had.

The stories and smells of old people. Waiting in the airport for a couple hours. I despise being in public domains without the ability to just leave. GODDAMN OLD PEOPLE SMELL DRIVES ME INSANE.

Let me tell you... somehow, the food in the kitchen tasted like old people smell. I don't know how it is possible, but there it is.

Got the motherfucking job £10k payrise pleases me immensely. New guitars must be purchased. Actually I'm gonna be moving into my own place soon and I'm really wanting to convert a room into a soundproof (well not entirely) room for music shitz so I'm sure all my funds will go into that. Gonna be awesome.

Jumped on the drums for the first time in a month. Was kinda discouraging in a way, it is pretty hard to keep time and make things flow into each other smoothly. Some interesting ideas popped out though, so that's cool.

Disregarding the fact that I can't play the riffs too well yet, I am really excited for this song.

ION: I just had an offer accepted on a house

After so many weeks of gigs I finally will have 2 weekends off. We are hitting a bunch of new material for the fall/winter schedule, so it was 4 new songs this week, 4 new ones next week, that will get us a leg up on it.
