I'd say deranged hobos are hardcore, in a different sense, so therefore, it totally works.

And that is an excellent phrase. It seems like the sort of thing a deranged hobo might do.

Yeah, when one really thinks about the expression it really just sounds like groping someone hobostyle versus irritating them.

nice mix Cam. I think you pulled off that sound very well. They should be very happy with that mix.

Look at Todge gasing for the shred machine.. I that a current model or an older one? Ibby's had not changed much in 200 years. They do their thing well. I still have my rg550 which will never part ways with me. I have it partially disassembled right now. I think I am going to paint the body and rewire the fucker.

Part of the reason i bought the car i bought was because i missed working on them.

Looks like i am going to get a chance to do so sooner than expected.

I think cars know, when a new owner takes over.

And i think they don't like it.

I believe you're right chris. The know they've been given up for adoption or orphaned. Actually I think there is something too machinery getting used to an operator then a new one comes along and it needs to be re-broken-in.

For sure. Or like they are union or something, and new ownership signals to them, some sort of period of contract re-negotiation.

This one, for instance, seems to be demanding new shift linkage. I think i must shift differently than the old guy, and i just pushed it over the edge. It was super-well-behaved on the long-ass test drive i took it on before buying it, though. :cop:

Unfortunately, to get at those parts, i need to take off most of the exhaust. Which at ten years or so old, is basically permanently affixed at this point. Imma have to cut all the damn exhaust clamps right the fuck off.

Whenever it fucking stops raining around here.

It really is. I feel there is something to be said for what that amp does when it's cranked to those volumes. It is just so roaring, angry and responsive.

Seems whenever you need to work on exhaust system a sawzall is the handiest of tools. Also, seems whenever one need to be under a car it is raining. Usually in buckets.

Yarr, the fucking sawzall is going to see some action, more than likely. I hope i have some metal blades in there still. I mean, i should have some. The last time i used the thing, was probably the last time a did exhaust work on a VW. :red:

Exhaust in the driveway is definitely one of the worst jobs. I feel like it would be simpler to do an engine swap even. At least most of something like that happens not under the damn car.

The Tony Martin-era Sabbath tribute set went okay, despite the last-minute clusterfuck of finding a replacement drummer (Our original drummer had a flare-up of gout in his foot the night before the show...out of desperation, I called Abnormality's drummer up to see if he could learn the songs. And he pulled off 3 of the 5. One I programmed drums for and the other we just cut.) I had enough fun singing and fronting a band that I'm determined to do it in a real band now.

Post Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Sometimes wearing a Suffo hoodie and looking like a hobo will get you things. I completely unintentionally got myself a free iPhone today when I went in to a Verizon store go buy a new phone. Unlikely odds, but the girl working behind the counter listens to metal and whatnots (which was not visibly clear) and thought I was a nice, charming young fellow and got her manager to throw me the deal of the iPhone being free if I buy $450 worth of shit there, which is less than the actual phone itself was going to be. So I got a free phone and a couple of AUX speaker things, one of which I will either sell or just give away. To be clear, she went out of her way to do this herself uncoerced.

Fucking weird shit, man. Interactions with human beings are becoming more and more surreal for me in a way that I can't really explain. Like in a, I AM PERPETUALLY DISORIENTED sort of manner.

I'm considering offloading my Rode NT5s. I have a matched pair, with case. Not that they're bad mics or that I need the money anymore- I'd do a trade/partial trade for something cool- it's just that I don't use them for much of anything important. 12th fret on acoustic guitar, rehearsal room overheads, and room mics. Not super-important stuff. I need a new LDC, a new guitarmap, etc.- shit I'll actually use. :idk:

YA RLY. :dukes: They're actually really nice SDCs for a reasonable price- not shrill or harsh; actually can be kinda warm on the right source. They'd probably be put to better use by someone who records drums more often than I do, or does more acoustic music where SDCs would come in handy. I don't really use them for anything important; I could use a 57 for those purposes for all it matters.
