I just drove to Montreal and back this weekend. Fuuuuu I am sick of the highway.

No Anno Mundi, sadly. We did Headless Cross, Cross of Thorns, Jerusalem, and Nightwing.

And a friend sent me video she took...and I did worse than I thought. I really need to do some serious work on my vocals to get them to where they were last year. (Hopefully that's all it is, and that I'm not losing my higher chest voice range as a result of getting older.)

Hey bras! its been super busy. I spent 34 days on the road, flew to Saskatoon, drove to Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Banff, Abbotsford, flew back to calgary and back to vancouver, and then victoria. And just got a paper back from school and did a mid term today. All while pulling 40+ hour weeks. The 34 days were 70 hour weeks though.

On a sad note I gave notice to the GnR band. The other band is making a lot of money and just too busy. GnR has only played 6 shows this year to the other bands 60 so far.... I need the money more than how much I like being Izzy. GnR was very unhappy since they pretty much thought i was Izzy. One of the best compliments I had ever received was from Dizzy Reed when he played a show with us and said "you make a better Izzy than Izzy, you didn't forget the parts..." I have one more small set at a benefit which our Slash is not going to be attending, theres a local EVH clone that going to do the songs with us. I will be ending the show by switching parts where I will be doing the Slash role and EVH will be Izzy for Sweet Child. I am going to miss playing Izzy especially to a few of the shows that were yearly events and really big 3500-6000 people, but to stay in just for that is no reason to stay in. Will also miss the D'Addario artist endorsement. Not free, but excellent artist discount.

I'd be real tired and complainy after all that. I was complaining about Montreal to Toronto, and that took half a day.

Awesome. Though, with Apple's pricing and shit they probably made a shit ton more money off of those accessories than they would have if you had dropped all that cash on just an iPhone. And if they work on commission they most certainly make more off of $450 in accessories than they do on an iPhone. Usually corporate type places don't want you to swing that kinda shit.

I have never heard of an application where a sawzall is a tool one would use on a car. What the fuck are you up to, Chris?

Fucking exhaust needs to be the fuck out of the way so that i can have access to the fucking shiftlinkage(or what is fucking left of it) so that i can remove it from the fucking car and repair/replace it.

Unfortunately, the story with exhaust(on this coast, where we get fucklots of snow and then salt the hell out of the roads to melt it) usually goes: "holyshit, everything is rusted so solid that the only option is to wipe the whole shit off the fucking face of the earth and start from scratch, angry god biblical style."

Only, instead of floods, we use sawzalls.

Chris's multiplicity of shits and fucks is appropriate to the task at hand. And yes, the salt (for those in not-so-salinated areas during winter) wrecks the shit out of everything. I have to clean the shit off my boots when I get inside during the winter.

I've actually adjusted well to the whole sobriety thing. Which surprises me. It is a fair bit more difficult to sleep when not intoxicated though. And re-wiring my brain is generally useful for writing lyrics, I've found. That being said, the ladyfriend and I are looking forward to my finally getting paid and us both having nothing to do for a couple days at the same time so we can get properly intoxicated, partytime-style. At the moment all we have on hand is mystery wine, which is probably too dry for our tastes, and a bit of hobo vodka. We've almost been tempted enough to have it. Almost.

I got a call out of the blue this morning from a staffing agency offering me a position at a printing company in the city proper (as opposed to where I'm working now, which is quite a ways away by bus) for quite a significant amount of money, much more than I made when I had a nice house and moar swanky gears. I could live with that. We shall see.

Totally rearended a truck this morning on the way to work. Obviously the truck was fine, though i might have to buy the guy a new tow hitch. I guess i am waiting for him to call me with the probably bad news.

The mini, on the other hand, less fine. It drives and the lights work. But it looks like one of the things that got fucked was the hood latch release, so i can't pop the shit and see what got pushed into what.

It seems almost okay, but i really need to find a non-destructive way to get that thing open to be able to see for sure.

The Universe, is currently and most definitely, out to fuck me over.

I might have to fucking shiv the fucking thing. I am tired of nothing but bad news. If i have to destroy this fucking planet in order to win, goddamnit, i fucking will.
