It seems whenever I've picked up a guitar lately- which has been quite frequent- I wind up playing some flavor of metal. It makes me seriously entertain the idea of writing a thrash/death/noisemetal record solely for the sake of doing it. Just riffing, weedlyweedly and artless violence. I might give it a whirl just for the hell of it- maybe even see if I can't find someone to play realdrums on there.

So another guy at the store sold some gear to Chvrches. So we got to see them for free. They were awesome and their stage manager/backline tech is super cool.

Just started on it. Getting some riffs down to work on arrangements. Debating on whether to stay in standard + drop D or tune down. Leaning toward the lower tunings. We'll see.

Awsum. If i were to be looking at a new car the Fiesta + Fiesta ST are among the very few modern cars i could get along with. One of my sisters has one and it is pretty rad.

Nice, I never used to like the new shape Fiesta but I think I'm slowly coming round to liking them, the Zetec S and ST look pretty nice actually.

I haz the old shape Zetec S and I like it, getting a bit old now at almost 100k on the clock, I bought it when it had done 24k.



Still kinda want to lower it and do some performance mods (induction kit apparently helps with efficiency and makes it sound better) but I can't really be bothered to throw money at it any more. I want to fix it up and part exchange it for something bigger, Honda Accord estate would be good for fitting bikes and guitar shit in

Apparently it's the number one vehicle or sumshit in the UK? They are uncommon here... Civics and Mazda 3s are the mainstay. I think most people here like compacts, not sub-compacts.

Yeah the all black ones look like the batmobile or something they're pretty popular over here, though I think Focus and Golfs are a bit more common.

My sister joined a wannabe cover band and they were looking for a lead guitar, so I decided I'd join since it'd be fun to play a couple rock songs. We do like, Weezer, Garbage, No Doubt, GnR etc.

I think I kind of really want to quit though. Which is tough, because then I'll be letting my seester down. She's a great singer, and the bass player is great too, but the rhythm guitarist, whose place we play at, is just so bad. He's basically a beginner, and his sense of rhythm is lacking. Yet he has no humility and always wants to dominate the song. It ruins the band (which doesn't have a drummer yet).

Besides, I'm already in three metal bands.

Ugh, whatevs. Maybe we can kick him out and reroute the entire thing... or maybe I can just take my sister with me... or maybe I should quit.
