All weekend we was recording our music video for 'Born With Two Dicks'. I met some young professionals/metal heads on Reddit and they decided they'd take us on. It looks like it's going to be killer... we did it in a big editing house (oh man the acoustics in there... oh maYONN) and they had proper cameras and tracks to roll them around on and stuff... Group shots of the band in three different areas of the place, plus solo shots of everyone, and closeups of me and the lead vocalist doing our parts.

Next we will film the non-playing footage, ie things related to someone having Two Dicks.

Fuck, so pumped for this when it's all done.

Landon is a sketchy dood who is impossible to be in a band with let alone friends with. I would have posted things about it here earlier were it not for the fear that he might read this forum. He essentially has mild Aspberger's and is just a very weird and unpleasant/negative person to be around. So I finally decided to kick him out of the band. My friend Colin who sings and plays guitar in a band called Bog Bodies and he will be drumming in Friendgetter 2.0, which I think is now going to be called Rare Candy.

There is of course, always the Gem saloon.

A Metal Muff through a Deluxe Reverb is surprisingly fantastic.

I would guess that at low volumes that would be pretty nice and metal-y.

It depends a lot on how you set it. Currently it sounds mostly like a recto through an open back cab. Kinda interesting and not as flubby in the low end as you'd think.

I have a buddy who works in an old german car restoration garage, I will have to pass this along.

You'd probably love their garage, one of the guys used to drum for Alesana so they have a drum kit set up to dick around on. Beer cooler stocked for while they work. Not a bad set up.

I am sure that pretty much anyone who works on cars would already have an angle grinder. Probably a nicer airpowered one.

I actually don't know how i have gone so far without one. It really is just a massive stupid difference in effort to strip rust/paint off parts. I guess i was just being stubborn.

But for sure, for cheap chinese shit, this one is actually surprisingly solid/good.

Yes doing any restore work requires a grinder. Auto body repair in my family for generations, I did it for a long time since it was a family business. Not surprisingly, beer is also required for restoration work. Maybe more than a grinder
