'Twould be my guess from the look of it. That would be expensive as hell to machine from a solid billet of ABS or whatever, and I don't know how practical injection molding it would be.

Re: The Chris Thread
Brilliant idea, this was. It could be improved by adding antlers, but that's minor.

It should seem so. I'm wondering if all coins came in neutron irradiated form

Classic metal album covers redesigned in the style of '50s jazz records.

Some of those are excellent. Others are a stretch or badly translated, but the basic concept is indeed a winnar.

Arise, Reign In Blood, Powerslave and Paranoid, I think, came out remarkably well. Among The Living is pretty classy, looking at it a bit more. Oddly, I think the retro-camp spin on Rust In Peace is probably less dated looking than the original.

Substantial squid. Bigger than a man. 6m to the end of its tentacles. Pour a 40 for my dead cephalopod homie. Poor bastage.
They're so bright and vibrant-looking when they're alive. The deceased ones look pretty sad.

Look, Buffalo actually has a fucklot of cool old architecture. But we lost this:
For this:
Incidentally, the whole thing looks like that, not just the ass end with the parking lot under it. Actually, I think the front looks worse, because the boards are at street level. There's, like, a dollar store, a small convenience store, a Foot Locker, a pizza place and that's basically it in the thing. Shit, I only ever went in there 'cause there used to be a Radio Shack. It's a dump and an eyesore.

Those japanese sons of bitches will hunt/fish and kill just about anything cool.
An aside, you should check out that China Miéville book i was reading, Kraken. A somewhat Pratchett-y story about a stolen Architeuthis corpse.

Truly. I can't imagine what purpose hunting whales serves in 2015, but they still do it. I suppose it's much like rhino horn/tiger penis/bear bile/etc. in that respect.
And I'll have to acquire that. I'm familiar with the name, but I don't recall if I've ever actually read anything of his.
