Unrelated, I may have aquired myself a realdrummer for some of my perpetually unfinished projects. That would require actually recording things instead of collecting gear and jamming in my living room. But still. Could prove interesting.

Since playing in a band again my GAS has returned quite severely too much gear I want to buy now. Considering getting a tele body to transplant my strat neck onto. I just don't really get on with strats it turns out, and I've wanted a tele for a long time. Someone on fb is selling a squier cabronita tele for cheap which looks really fucking cool but I think I'd rather have a normal one with the metal bridge surround etc. Think it'd do the toanz I like more than the filtertron things.

Edit - after playing the other guitarists tele tonight, I definitely need me one of them. Sounded so good. Also I need to get my guitars set up professionally, this one played liked the proverbial buttah.

I live in NYC now, so it is possible.

yes, I normally work on Manhattan (NYU) but for a few weeks i am on Long Island, when I am back in I will take you out for lunch. my schedule if pretty free. Your Mrs is invited of course. Maybe I bring lady Tor in for a weekend evening.

Moved in with the miss, then its been study and work, then just study then just work and now I graduate in May, just need to finish my final project. Getting married in July. Still brew beer, still play my strat. Haven't played my bad cat since I moved.

Made an Oktobear fest, that I have the last bottle in the fridge, have a potter for the miss in the fermenter, thinking of making something for the wedding but I'm not sure what yet.

That Fender bass head on the front page got used on the new Every Time I Die record, according to one of the guys I know who just finished up tracking it.

They have even more amps there now. It's pretty nuts. Damn near everything. Though I don't think they have a Hiwatt. Almost everything.

Come to think of it, I really have no clue what a Hiwatt is supposed to sound like.
