It's come to my attention I don't believe I've eaten since sometime very early Sunday morning.

However, I posit the above question to you. Do they qualify as foodstuffs? What say you?

Booze certainly does count as nourishment in my books.

It has calories. It's made from vegeables. (Could you make booze from meat? ) Therefore, it's good for both man and beast.

Of course it's food. Just look at super models and any number of poets/writers/painters.

Herr Doktor has a point. While I have given up cigs, the other two are a staple of my diet, and I believe my body would fall apart without such so it must be foodstuffs.

I don't think so. I consider them more of a 'supplement' than an actual meal. Even though I have gone lengths of time sustaining my body only on alcohol and cigarettes (might as well throw energy drinks into the mix as well) I don't consider them a meal at all.

Survival of the fittest.

Yeah we can. I do have to tone it down a bit when I know I have to work in the morning, but I figure the time off does me some minuscule bit of good.

We have new coffee machine at work. Now I usually brew my own here, but they got some new fangled Starbucks machine. I'm not too crazy about Starbucks, other than it's strong, but this machine is not bad. Not bad at all. It fresh grinds and make a very strong dark roast. I can live with this.

Food. For sure. I've survived for weeks straight on nothing but coffee, cigarettes, and cheap booze. Of course, for the weeks after, I felt like shit. But that point is notwithstanding.

Knowing who it's coming from, yeah, I know yer jus' fuckin' around.

That being said, I think sometimes it's funnier to respond with a totally straight-faced answer to an obvious joke question statement.

Asseptable. The strength is apparently why the cops go to Starbucks instead of the IMO superior coffee shop across the street, where I am currently acquiring caffeination post-work and pre-rehearsal.

That and the parking. They just park wherever the fuck they want in the Starbucks lot, even non-spaces, where it's kinda a hassle to park here.

Strong coffee is no use if it tastes like shit

I've been drinking more coffee recently as I've been working 9-5 like a normal person, trying not to get addicted to the stuff It's only instant though so it doesn't taste too nice, which means I'm less inclined to drink so much of it.. I think. The thing is, after I've had a cup I feel fine for a while then feel super-drained. Kinda shit.
