I've got some dumbass number of posts on there mostly being a useful, knowledgeable and helpful poster. Probably about as many as I had on Olde Maps- roughly 12k? Almost all on-topic. I'm half-tempted to come back as a full-on troll.

Also, looking at Andy Sneap's forum these days makes me want to troll it because the posters on there- which was once not a bad place to learn about making good-sounding records on the cheap because they embraced digital and the whole home studio thing- are real-life-trolling music by their attempts to take pissweak garbage kidmetal and make it sound like it's played by a MIDI sequencer. I'm also firmly convinced none of these bands should ever have a live drummer.

Everyone on the HC classifieds tells you they want an item, gives you shipping info but never gives you the money. I wonder if they are just trolling for people dumb enough to send stuff out before receiving payment?

Having not used AIM since I was in college, I wouldn't even know it still existed. Not that there's anything pressing I think we have to discuss at the moment; just geekery and debauched stories.



It's funny you say that now; I went out with Ms. D for coffee and snax after work and she came up in conversation out of the blue. There was some personal stuff a while back that's not relevant here and D was rather perturbed with her for the way shit went down, and V and I wound up mostly not speaking for a while, but all is settled and people who should be friendly are so. And I've always- I have to admit, out of the public eye here- found her vocabularities charming, and her English getting somewhat skewed when she's flustered... actually quite endearing and cute, in no small part because the person versus the intarwebs character is actually quite articulate and has something of a way with words.

I'd like her to do some remixes for the Garda stuff, and I pitched the idea, but I don't know what'll come of it. Garda has adopted Wasteland, which she and I wrote together, as our own, because there's no one else to play the thing, and that song delivers.

crap. I hate rushing to learn tunes, but have done it many times. You will find you will remember them all once the band get's started live. Last time, I was nervous before a gig needing to learn about the same number of tunes, never practiced with the band, and everything came out stellar.
