I may need to do something paisley. Oh, and not Brad. While he's a nice looking man, the whole country thing doesn't do anything for me. I'm sure he would smell of tobacco and grain alcohol.

I may be getting another Tele Deluxe and this might be a candidate for Paisleyness.

Perhaps I should go home and change into something paisley for the day. I'm wearing a pinstripe shirt and vest today.

Also, tell us about the Tele!

This maybe is true. :snax:

Well I have been looking for something to keep on the side detuned, or tuned open for certain slide songs, I am now the default guy for slide in LI cover bands.. While I am not a great fan of slide guitar it will keep me busy. So I was offing my RG550 and was going to pickup something cheap like a xavier or something, then a chap over on HC Classifried may be willing to off his Walnut coloured Tele deluxe for my RG. How could I say no? I will find out later today if the deal is down or not. The tele has a few issues as well, so it will work. :nods:

yes, I wanted a "normal: tele, but I am a 'bucker girl. and this will make a perfect bookend for the other one. I am not too crazy of bringing along my Reverend to $50-80 gigs when it has appreciated by %50 in the past year. Not that I'm all that worried about a pristine guitar and all

Ooooh. I like the Tele Deluxes quite a bit. It is kind of an odd mishmash collection of parts, but somehow, it just works really well for me visually. :isay:

Then promptly passed out. :barf:

Also, one thing I'll always appreciate about this crew is our ability to take any thread and quickly and utterly fucking derail it until it has nothing whatsoever to do with what it was originally about. :panic:

This. I like trying to catch up on a post I made/read a day earlier. I'm thinking, I posted/read something about a platypus, where the hell would that be? Oh yes, the Alan Moulder thread... of course

They are great. I can imagine some space alien engineer splicing DNA strands together and then saying "fuckit, it's 5:00, I'm going home" or a bunch of guys sitting around on a couch really stoned at fuckall in the morning going "dude, I have the greatest idea for an animal..."

"Let's make it poisonous, bro... Let's make it poisonous."
"No fuckin' way man, like, fuuuuck!"
"Dude."
"You said 'beaver' earlier."
"Pass the Doritos, man."
"like, from a duck. This shit is awesome. Let's totally make this thing."

Makes perfect sense to me.

I didn't know he worked on the new Interpol and Blonde Redhead stuff; I like those records.
