I programmed phat beatz. We drank boozeahol. I played the things with the curly headstocks that say "Fender" on them. We're classy!   Go figure, my guitars on this are mostly totally conventional blues save for some modal shit I threw in that I play all the time.

Reminds me of some of the Primal Scream stuff, when they were transitioning from their Stones/blues sound into the electronic hybrid one that led to their later best stuff. Vocals too, they have a similar "quaaluded, unrushed" sort of vibe to them. Very cool, IMO.

Re: Snaxie and his tranny friend play some bl00zy goth. We recorded a whole bunch of this shit. Bitch can play guitar and keys and sing for realz, yo. We're going for, mostly, a Waits/Cave/New Orleans jazzy blues-meets-electronica/triphop vibe, and so far, it's working. We're planning on gigging this stuff in the near future, as we have a bunch of it in various stages of disrepair. Certainly one of the stranger "bands" about around here, I'd think, punk rock transsexual with wacky old 40s-50s guitars fronting my robot army of electrodeath. I'd almost just want to play bass on this stuff live for the added whiteboyfunk weirdness element. Sadly, it appears my weirdguitaring and conventional lead playing are needed. Also, let it be known Properly Elegant Hats were worn throughout the recording.  An aside: as a recording engineer, I like tracking a guitarist who can read music and knows what a measure actually is and plays in tune and in time and can count without drums and play to a click.
