So I am writing a rap about gentleman who enjoy the finer things in life, such as Radium Water.

This ... shall not be easy.

I writing silly raps.

Every time I listen to this I realize how much better I've become at vocals.


I was trying to go far lower than I am capable.
'Twas foolish.

That's my natural growl area. Of course, I have a pretty deep normal voice and I'm a pretty huge Chris Barnes fan.

I simply cannot go that low.
I have more of a Frank Mullen (Pierced From Within era) thing going.

A lot of people tell me Frank Mullen is super low and all that.
Not really, he's fucking great don't get me wrong, but he's not THAT low.
His voice is just SUPER rough and harsh, and he cupped the mic non-stop on Effigy.

Mullen's my favorite.
I consciously and subconsciously rip off his vocal sounds all the time.

If there any sort of vocals I can lend, I surely will.

I do believe this thread just reached Classic status.

Gangsta vocals will be needed for the choir parts.

Also, the faux-megaphone parts are to remind me to Vocode/treble boost those parts. If someone else wanted to do that they are more than welcome.

Also I need someone else to play the part of Gent 1/2 opposite me.

So, I might go home and try to rap this to a click. It will be a rough cut with me doing all the parts. Then, once we get an idea of what we are going for I figure sSnaxie could program up a dub drum beat. After that, I can rap it for real, then send that out to everyone to add their own bits and pieces over top.

Also, someone will need to volunteer to mix this thing. I CANNOT mix on my PC.

Also, thanks for reminding how much I love writing raps.

I would love to do the intro in a fancypants Olde English voice with you.


Also, I could do big black gangsta voice for the "Ladies and Gentleman" bit.

I am excited for this.
