 OK so this didn't work So last gig I figured "let me drink something I don't like so much so I can drink it slow, so I won't be all fucked up by the end of the 3rd set." I like wine, but not in big doses, so I ask the bartendrix for a cabernet, but let me have a a glass without a stem as I need it to sit in my swirly gig on my mic stand during the set. So she pours me a 12-16 oz glass full of cabernet. OK I can milk it. no tor you are wrong. you like alcobooze too much.  I managed to keep it to 3 or 4 of these and I didn't do any shots (I had to drive myself and gear home) I've done this a few times trying to drink something that I don't really like, problem is after I get the first 1/2 down, "once it hit your lips it's so good"

Re: OK so this didn't work Nice work. *applauds* I have to go to beer if I want to pull that off. Wine, I'll quaff like it's water, with potentially disastrous results. Around these parts, we generally kill a bottle of wine- usually Riesling, but I just acquired a Gewürtztraminer and a semi-sweet ice wine that need to be consumed posthaste- before we go out. Of course, there was that time a little while back when I did the recording with my tranny friend where we got all tweaked out and then ate a 1.5l bottle of Merlot a piece... and then hit the bars at like 3 AM to get even more fucked up. That was some serious Keith Richards shit.

Re: OK so this didn't work oh, I tend to play well when just a bit tipsy, and I don't really let it get there (drunk) usually live. But I am playing classic rawk and I think that's a prerequisite
