Probably some shit you have to assign in there. I'm sure there's an SD2/Reaper tutorial out there that could tell you.

This is how I felt about the samples I heard as well - I thought it may just be my ears being used to the brightness of the EZDrummer samples. Ages ago on HCAF I mentioned that I thought they sounded a bit dead and boring and they were like "d00d3 that's just because they're not in a mix" and I fell for it

regarding reaper doing multiple outputs, I have no idea how to do that I just put ezdrummer on a single track and do all my drum mixing with the built in mixer. And change the snare to the 13" since the other two sound a bit dead to me.

But that would mean, like reading stuff. That sounds like work ...

But yeah, I'm going to go do that right now.

Basically, look in your mixer (SD2's). There will be 1/2 at the bottom of each channel. Click it. Select something else. Then, create a new blank track in Reaper. Click "io" on that track. Click add new receive. Click "New channels on sending track." Select the channels you selected in SD2. Done.

Well, it makes all of the tracks in reaper automatically. But, there is just nothing assigned to them. I guess I just need to start assigning to tracks from sd2s interface. I am going to try this tonight.
